Interns vs. Spring Mobile Ballpark Food Part IX

Interns vs. Spring Mobile Ballpark Food Day 9

Oreo Shake vs. Cookie Dough Shake vs. Strawberry Shake

We already taste tested the ice cream out of the souvenir helmet earlier this week, but wanted to give the savory shakes a try. Both the Oreo and cookie-dough shakes come with a generous amount of toppings. The Oreo pieces had a nice crunch and the cookie dough was just the right amount of chewy. The strawberry was especially fruity.

Verdict:

The real winner is anyone of you who have read this blog and taken in a meal at the ballpark this season.

Interns vs. Spring Mobile Ballpark Food Part VIII

After a night of consuming hot dogs, we decided to try the other meats SpringMobileBallpark had to offer. Both the cheeseburger and the chicken tenders come with a basket of fries. We were tempted to go with the garlic and cheese fries, but didn’t to give the battle our full attention.

Interns vs. Spring Mobile Ballpark Food Day 8

 Cheeseburger vs. Chicken Tenders

A cheeseburger at a baseball game for a devoted fan can relate to the Jimmy Buffet song “Cheeseburger inParadise.” A freshly grilled beef patty, cheese and your choice of toppings mixed with a beautiful evening of baseball is paradise. Just watch, next time you’re at a Bees game eating a cheeseburger you will find yourself humming the song.

The chicken tenders were made with real white chicken meat, not that imitation stuff you find at fast food chains. They were fried at just the right temperature to keep them juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Switching off between barbeque and honey mustard dipping sauces made for an enjoyable meal.

Verdict:

Both are great choices again. Tonight’s verdict comes down to whether or not you are a Jimmy Buffet fan. If you are, go with the cheeseburger in paradise.
